Hello

20 something Danni.jpeg

Pronouns - She and her.

A little about me - I eat too much chocolate, drink too much coffee, and it seems a decent night's sleep is optional. Procrastination is my 'other' middle name, and as reserved as I am in real life, my online persona can be (a tad) mischievous. :)

I've always disappeared into books, and The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe is still my all-time favourite childhood story. Then Stephen King and Dean Koontz lured me in with their dark and suspenseful tales and their ability to make the ordinary so much more.

I believed I was a horror writer long before I realised my characters wanted to do that 'kissing stuff' and I had to admit I was a romance writer, too.  That 'kissing stuff' ranges from sweet to spicy depending on the story.

I've always had a thing for curse stories, and there's nothing I love more than to see a character find redemption, even better if they find redemption through romance.  I hope you enjoy them too. :)

About Me - the formal version

D. D. Line lives in coastal Southern Western Australia with her family and two over-enthusiastic dogs. Reading was her favourite childhood pastime. In her senior year, thanks to a crush on her English teacher and a desire to impress him, she developed a deep love of writing stories.

She writes Romantic Suspense and Paranormal Romance where her characters find redemption through romance. Her books have won an ARRA award and placed in competitions such as The NEST and the Daphne du Maurier Kiss of Death awards in the United States, and the Koru Award in New Zealand. Her short stories feature in various anthologies throughout Australia.

She’s a wife, a child wrangler, and a wannabe baker who wishes she could sing.

D. D. Line looks after Member Services and is also the Aspiring Ambassador for Romance Writers of Australia (RWAus). She's a member of DSDU (Darkside DownUnder), Romance Writers of New Zealand (RWNZ) and the Australian Romance Readers Association (ARRA).

She loves hearing from her readers. :)
